Mohammed Rahis Khan, Principal

Mohammed acts as the Development Principal and main owner-side interface across opportunities undertaken by MRKHD. The role is to keep the commercial objective, professional team, delivery programme and key decisions connected from the owner's perspective.

MRKHD is not presented as the architect, planning consultant, engineer, quantity surveyor, solicitor, main contractor or regulated finance provider. Those services are undertaken by appropriately qualified and experienced parties appointed according to the requirements of the project.

The contribution MRKHD makes

Depending on the commercial arrangement, MRKHD's contribution can be non-financial: originating or structuring the development opportunity, coordinating the professional team, progressing the strategy, helping procure the delivery team, maintaining project oversight and giving the owner a single reporting line through to completion.

Project capital remains a matter for the property owner, project vehicle and relevant funding parties unless expressly agreed otherwise. Any specialist funding, legal, tax or valuation advice should be provided by the appropriately authorised or qualified adviser.

Commercial alignment

Different properties require different structures. MRKHD may work for an agreed fee, through performance-linked participation, retained equity or another bespoke commercial arrangement. No fixed ownership split is presented as standard, and any property, company, tax or shareholder structure should be implemented with appropriate professional advice.
